Cosford

The variety was bred in 1816 in the Cosford area of England. Strong-growing variety. The height of the tree can reach 6 m in height. Forms an extensive not much crown. When ripe, the nut easily falls out of the inflorescence. Fruits are large or medium in size (height 27 mm, width 20 mm), strongly elongated, broadly elliptic, rounded at the end. The shell is thin enough. Kernel light cream color, juicy, very tasty, very good. Walnut ripening in the second or third decade of September.
